There's a rumble in the jungle

I have made this card for my friend who has just had a little girl! I did a card that would be suitable for a boy or girl, as we didn't know what she was having!

Baby Freya was a lovely surprise :)

I have created an easel card so I could make the most of my baby themed papers.

The images I have used are the adorable Safari Trio (£3.50) from Nutcrafters.
I love how they match the papers! The animals are coloured using Promarkers, and the buttons I've used are a pack from The Works (£1).

I am entering this card into Allsorts Challenge - Free & Easy Pt1

time with friends is the best way to spend the day!

Happy New Year!! ..(sorry it's a little late!)
This is the first chance I have had to get on to my blog.

I have strayed away from cards recently and started using up some mini calendars that I bought last year to create my very own calendars.

I have used brown card for the base of my calendar,

Lili of the Valley's "Oh So Girlie" image, backed in green card.

I have used some floral paper, (which I may have pinched from my mum) but I loved the sentiment that was on it -

"time with friends is the best way to spend the day"

I thought it complimented my calendar very well.

I created the hook with Gardeners Twine which my friend bought for me from the Boots Christmas sale, and attached a "made with love" charm.

The flowers I've used are from my stash.

I am entering this into Lili of the Valley's Spring Colours challenge!

Thanks for looking! x

Spooky

Here's another halloween card I have created, this one is quite simple.

I have just used purple card and some silver stickers that I got from TK Maxx in January.

You can enter Allsorts Challenges 3 times a week with different creations, so this is the next one I am submitting.

Halloween in Wonderland

Well, it's almost Halloween! My favourite day of the year.

I have been busy creating cards to hand out to my family and friends.

Here's one that I have created & I am going to enter it into this weeks

Allsorts Challenge which is obviously Halloween themed!

I have made my easel card using purple card topped with sparkly black paper that I got for a £1 at a recent craft show.

The Alice images are from Graphic45 Papercrafts, and I have used halloween ribbon I recently bought from Michaels in America, and the flowers are from my stash :)

Shoes!

Hi!

I haven't blogged for a few months! My gorgeous new niece and nephew have been keeping me busy! But I am back :)

SO first up,

rather then spending lots of money on one pair of shoes, I decided to buy a plain pair of pumps, and embellish them myself, and save some money!

I bought a pair of £3 shoes from Primark and some spotty ribbon & heart buttons (for 70p) from the market. I made 2 bows from the ribbon and sewed them on the front of the shoes and attached the buttons.

The end result! I'm very happy with them, and they are SO comfy.

L7 ... Square!

Just a quick one today...

I have made this card to enter into a couple of challenges,

Allsorts Challenge - Sketch 57 (which has a few squares on it...)
and
Anyone for Anya? - Fabulous Flowers!

I love pink & turquoise.. I think they go together quite well :)

Ok.. so the papers, I honestly can't remember where they're from.. they were actually scraps that I found in one of my folders. I have used the scalloped square Nestabilities to cut all the squares out.
The image is of course from TGF, Wildsprout Megan, coloured with Promarkers. The 'Love' embellishment is from a pack that I got from Tesco, they are so pretty. I have put little jewelled brads in the middle of the flowers, which I got from Nutcrafters.

Only Men Allowed

This weeks challenge over at Anyone for Anya? is Only Men Allowed. You have to "make a card for that special man in your life"
well.. I've already made my Fathers Day card, so I have decided to enter this card that I have made for my good friend James' birthday.

It's his birthday today, so.. Happy Birthday! :)

I have used the boy from TGF's Amazing Duo stamp set, along with the You're Super sentiment. Coloured in using Promarkers.
The starry paper is from a Paper Generations Stacker, and I cut out the skyline myself and used gold Stickles to make the windows, it's meant to look like the lights are on! Hehe.
