There's a rumble in the jungle

I have made this card for my friend who has just had a little girl! I did a card that would be suitable for a boy or girl, as we didn't know what she was having!

Baby Freya was a lovely surprise :)

I have created an easel card so I could make the most of my baby themed papers.

The images I have used are the adorable Safari Trio (£3.50) from Nutcrafters.
I love how they match the papers! The animals are coloured using Promarkers, and the buttons I've used are a pack from The Works (£1).

I am entering this card into Allsorts Challenge - Free & Easy Pt1

L7 ... Square!

Just a quick one today...

I have made this card to enter into a couple of challenges,

Allsorts Challenge - Sketch 57 (which has a few squares on it...)
and
Anyone for Anya? - Fabulous Flowers!

I love pink & turquoise.. I think they go together quite well :)

Ok.. so the papers, I honestly can't remember where they're from.. they were actually scraps that I found in one of my folders. I have used the scalloped square Nestabilities to cut all the squares out.
The image is of course from TGF, Wildsprout Megan, coloured with Promarkers. The 'Love' embellishment is from a pack that I got from Tesco, they are so pretty. I have put little jewelled brads in the middle of the flowers, which I got from Nutcrafters.

Sweet Music

The challenge over at Raise the Bar this week is Sweet Music.

I have made this easel card using Nutcrafters Drumming Cash stamp.

I always get stuck for what to put on cards for boys! And I think the boys Nutshell range is great!

I have coloured Cash using Promarkers. The 'Rock On' I have cut out using my Sizzix Alphabet, and the musical paper is from The Crafthouse Press. I have used a star shaped Gromlet as the prop on the base of the card, and I added a few star shaped sequins I found.

Bloomin' Marvelous

I have made this card for my Dad for Fathers Day next weekend, and also to enter into the Bee Crafty challenge - Bloomin' Marvelous.

To enter the challenge you have to create a card/project using lots of flowers.
Instead of going for the usual girly, flowery card, my Dad enjoys gardening so I thought this brand new Digi image, In the Garden, from Nutcrafters was perfect!

I have coloured the image using Promarkers, and I have used My Minds Eye backing paper. The plants I got a few years ago in a garden embellishment set for about £1 and I had never opened it until today. And I think the little blue flowers are Prima.. they've got mixed in with others so not too sure! Hehe.

I'm sure my Dad will like this!

Razzle Dazzle

Hello again! Told you I'd be back ;)

I have made this card for this weeks challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenge blog.
DAZZLE US

For this challenge we had to use lots of sparkles, glitter and gems!

I have used the unicorn image from Nutcrafters Magical Mimi set, and coloured her using Promarkers and Stickles.
The Make a Wish sentiment is also by Nutcrafters, from the Luna Fairy Princess stamp set.

The gems are by Prima, and the papers are from my stash - I'm glad I have finally used this glittery paper! I love it.

HOT HOT HOT!

Well.. yet again, it's been almost a month since I last posted anything! Eeek.
I have been a busy bee!

Well I plan on making a few cards this weekend to catch up! So, firstly here's a card I made to enter into the Hot hot hot challenge over at Anyone For Anya?

We could make a card using "bright and zingy colours, or you could just have a summery theme", so I went for both!

I have used TGF's Audrey image, and coloured her using Promarkers, and the summer backing paper is by Imaginisce, which I bought from Nutcrafters. I have used my Nestabilities to cut out the circles and rectangles. I have also used Stickles to highlight areas!

Thanks for looking!
I'll hopefully post some more tomorrow!

It's a gorgeous day!

Yep, that's right! It's a lovely day here in Manchester! The sun is out for once! And it has inspired me to make a summery card!

So here it is... I have used the "shine" stamp from the Miss Anya - Rain, Snow, Shine stamp set.

I am entering this card into a few challenges:
Cupcake Craft Challenges - Blooming Charming (Use blooms and charms)
Anyone For Anya? - Don't Be A Square (Make a card that ISN'T square)
Allsorts Challenge - Birthdays (Make a birthday card)
TGF's Farm Fresh Friday - Colour Challenge (Use the colours given)
and
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Cute and Girly.

I have coloured her using Promarkers & Stickles. I have used my Classic Oval and Scalloped Oval nestabilities for the back of the easel card.
I have used a FlipFlop charm that I got from Nutcrafters, I thought this went with Anya quite well.
And for my sentiment I have used my "Sunshine kisses and Birthday wishes" stamp. I think it's so pretty! (Sorry it's a little blurry!).

Two Challenges!

Here's the other card I have made!

I have created this to enter into two challenges..

Raise The Bar - Yellow, Grey and White
and
Nutcrafters/Nutshells - A card for Mum

For the Raise The Bar challenge, you just had to follow the colour combo, and for the Nutshells challenge, you had to make a Mothers Day card or, (since Mothers Day is in March here in the UK), a card for Mum.

I love this stamp set, Me Time Anya. Wish I was relaxing right now! hehe.
Coloured using Promarkers, papers & flowers from stash.

Boutique

Hey!
Just a quick one today. I haven't posted anything for a little bit.
This is a card I have made using TGF's Gigi stamp and a Boutique stamp that I bought from The Paper Mill shop.
I bought the Boutique stamp a couple of months ago, and hadn't got round to using it. So I was desperate to make something with it. I came across Gigi and thought they went together so well. She's so in fashion! hehe.
I've coloured them using Pro Markers, and for the windows of the boutique, I have used 3D Clear Gloss to make them shiny! I added a little handbag charm too! The sentiment is from a Nutcrafters Cutie Pie set, "Shopping.. A necessity not a luxury!".

Sorry the picture isn't so great, I used my phone! I shall take a better one soon.

fairy cake

It's an open challenge over at Flutter By Wednesdays this week, you have to include a fairy/butterfly/angel as usual though.
I didn't think I'd get round to entering this in time! Luckily I got chance to finish it off this evening!
I have used one of Nutcrafters Cute Pie stamps. She's such a cute fairy image!
Coloured using Pro Markers and I've glittered her bow and wings up using Stickles.

Dib dib dib...

Hi again! Told you I had lots to show you!

I am submitting this card into two challenges - Club Anya's Saturday Sketch #14 and Cupcake Craft challenge #86 - Childhood Memories.

The Club Anya challenge, you just had to follow the sketch given.
And for the Cupcake Craft challenge, you had to create a card inspired by childhood memories..
So I thought what better than using TGFs Wildsprout Bree, She reminds me of a little girl scout!
I was in Brownies and Guides when I was younger and it was fun!

Hey Cupcake!

I made this card for a friends birthday, and then came across a challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenge. The theme for this week is food & drink.

Easter!

I am entering this card into the challenge over at Bee Crafty. You must make a spring inspired card, and I thought what's better than Easter?
I have used a digi image from Nutcrafters. This is Nutshell Easter Bo, she is so cute in her bunny costume!
The papers I have used are from my stash, and I used the Spots & Dots Cuttlebug to emboss the easter egg, and then highlighted some with Stickles.
I recently bought some spring Gromlets and I'm obsessed with them, so I had to put the egg shaped one on here!
