Only Men Allowed

This weeks challenge over at Anyone for Anya? is Only Men Allowed. You have to "make a card for that special man in your life"
well.. I've already made my Fathers Day card, so I have decided to enter this card that I have made for my good friend James' birthday.

It's his birthday today, so.. Happy Birthday! :)

I have used the boy from TGF's Amazing Duo stamp set, along with the You're Super sentiment. Coloured in using Promarkers.
The starry paper is from a Paper Generations Stacker, and I cut out the skyline myself and used gold Stickles to make the windows, it's meant to look like the lights are on! Hehe.

Thanks for looking!

Lace, Buttons && Bows!

I am entering this card into TWO challenges :)

Allsorts Challenge - Lace & Buttons
and
Anya Ink - Buttons & Bows

It's another easel card.. I love making these!
I have used the gorgeous Savannah stamp from The Greetings Farm, (coloured using Promarkers). I have used some Lace on the background (unfortunately, you can't see it so well!) and I have also used my Martha Stewart - Half Daisy punch on the background.
The papers and ribbon are from my stash, and the buttons I have used are by Papermania.

Here's a close up to show the lace and MS punch!

I think Savannah suits green! :)

HOT HOT HOT!

Well.. yet again, it's been almost a month since I last posted anything! Eeek.
I have been a busy bee!

Well I plan on making a few cards this weekend to catch up! So, firstly here's a card I made to enter into the Hot hot hot challenge over at Anyone For Anya?

We could make a card using "bright and zingy colours, or you could just have a summery theme", so I went for both!

I have used TGF's Audrey image, and coloured her using Promarkers, and the summer backing paper is by Imaginisce, which I bought from Nutcrafters. I have used my Nestabilities to cut out the circles and rectangles. I have also used Stickles to highlight areas!

Thanks for looking!
I'll hopefully post some more tomorrow!

It's a gorgeous day!

Yep, that's right! It's a lovely day here in Manchester! The sun is out for once! And it has inspired me to make a summery card!

So here it is... I have used the "shine" stamp from the Miss Anya - Rain, Snow, Shine stamp set.

I am entering this card into a few challenges:
Cupcake Craft Challenges - Blooming Charming (Use blooms and charms)
Anyone For Anya? - Don't Be A Square (Make a card that ISN'T square)
Allsorts Challenge - Birthdays (Make a birthday card)
TGF's Farm Fresh Friday - Colour Challenge (Use the colours given)
and
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Cute and Girly.

I have coloured her using Promarkers & Stickles. I have used my Classic Oval and Scalloped Oval nestabilities for the back of the easel card.
I have used a FlipFlop charm that I got from Nutcrafters, I thought this went with Anya quite well.
And for my sentiment I have used my "Sunshine kisses and Birthday wishes" stamp. I think it's so pretty! (Sorry it's a little blurry!).

Two Challenges!

Here's the other card I have made!

I have created this to enter into two challenges..

Raise The Bar - Yellow, Grey and White
and
Nutcrafters/Nutshells - A card for Mum

For the Raise The Bar challenge, you just had to follow the colour combo, and for the Nutshells challenge, you had to make a Mothers Day card or, (since Mothers Day is in March here in the UK), a card for Mum.

I love this stamp set, Me Time Anya. Wish I was relaxing right now! hehe.
Coloured using Promarkers, papers & flowers from stash.

Thanks for looking!

It's Thursday! ... on a Sunday!

I've not posted anything for a little while! Been rather busy at work etc and not had much chance to do anything :(
But this weekend I finally found some time to make a few cards.. yay!

First up.. it's Thursday!

I bought this stamp when I recently went to a craft show in Port Sunlight, Wirral.

I have made this card for the Saturday Sketch over at Club Anya & Friends. All you had to do was follow the sketch given, and obviously use a TGF image.

I have coloured her in using my Promarkers and Stickles. The papers are from my growing stash hehe, as are the flowers, and I have used a Dovecraft brad for the middle of the flower!

Thanks for looking!

Boutique

Hey!
Just a quick one today. I haven't posted anything for a little bit.
This is a card I have made using TGF's Gigi stamp and a Boutique stamp that I bought from The Paper Mill shop.
I bought the Boutique stamp a couple of months ago, and hadn't got round to using it. So I was desperate to make something with it. I came across Gigi and thought they went together so well. She's so in fashion! hehe.
I've coloured them using Pro Markers, and for the windows of the boutique, I have used 3D Clear Gloss to make them shiny! I added a little handbag charm too! The sentiment is from a Nutcrafters Cutie Pie set, "Shopping.. A necessity not a luxury!".

Sorry the picture isn't so great, I used my phone! I shall take a better one soon.

Thanks for looking.

Dib dib dib...

Hi again! Told you I had lots to show you!

I am submitting this card into two challenges - Club Anya's Saturday Sketch #14 and Cupcake Craft challenge #86 - Childhood Memories.

The Club Anya challenge, you just had to follow the sketch given.
And for the Cupcake Craft challenge, you had to create a card inspired by childhood memories..
So I thought what better than using TGFs Wildsprout Bree, She reminds me of a little girl scout!
I was in Brownies and Guides when I was younger and it was fun!

TGF Royal Battle!

The Greeting Farm are holding their biggest challenge yet!

There is around 60 teams who will submit one card each week, using a set theme/colour scheme set by TGF. You have to vote for your top 3 cards, and the teams with the most votes will move on to the next weeks challenge!
(Tough stuff!)

I am on team Little Star Shooters!
Along with Kim (Team Captain)
and Laura.

We had to submit a retro card this week using a certain colour scheme, turquoise and burnt orange/brown.

Laura had a great idea that we all make a card each and then send them to each other and then decide who's card to send in. This makes it fairer, (and we all get to do a bit more crafting!)

This week, my card was submitted (eek!) ...

When I thought 'retro', I thought of the 50s - diners and ice cream parlours, so that's what I went for! I have made an easel card so I could get lots of detail into the card, to prop the card up I made a Sundaes sign.

I have used the orangey/brown paper to make the counter, and sat an ice cream on top of it. The ice cream was made using a Sizzix die, and to top it off I added the cherry brad.

I have used TGFs Wildsprout Megan, and gave her a pleated skirt out of turquoise polka dot paper, and also gave her a red bow from ribbon.

If you would like to vote for us and have a nosey and the other great entries, just head over to TGF. Click HERE if you like our card and want to vote for it! Thankyou!

Hey Cupcake!

I made this card for a friends birthday, and then came across a challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenge. The theme for this week is food & drink.

I have used a Miss Anya Love stamp from TGF, and sat her on top of a cupcake which is part of the Pink Frosting - Breast Cancer Awareness digi set from Nutcrafters. The 'Hey Cupcake' sentiment and little cakes are from the Cutie Pie Collection, aslo from Nutcrafters.

SPRING FEVER

The challenge this week over at Anyone for Anya is Spring Fever, to create a card with spring colours or blooms, and also there is a challenge at Allsorts challenge Blog to use the same theme.. (Spring!). So I would like to enter this card into both.
I have chosen to use The Greeting Farms Twinkle Tots Izzy for my image, I thought she was perfect for this challenge as she looks ready for spring in her Easter Bonnet!

I chose nice fresh citrus colours for my card and matched papers from my stash to some new Prima flowers I bought and a Fancy Pin.
This is the first easel card I have done and I loved making it! I have used a Spring Gromlet for the prop on the base, and think I will be making lots more cards in this style.

Thanks for looking, Rachael.
